For more than 20 years Georg has been a member of the board of directors of the Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz (BUND) Darmstadt with more than 2.500 members. The BUND Darmstadt is a local branch of the Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz (BUND) Germany.
